As far as I know………..these are the results 1st – BlueBeat 2nd – Firsty 3rd – Nona DNF - Satisfaction Race Report from Firsty Awesome day on the harbour, just a great Auckland day on turquoise water in the upper harbour. Had the chance to put up the No 1 light, which I haven't seen out of the bag for some time. On board Robyn Tim Tod, and myself. I noticed that the Eye Spy is on the mooring. Must be something important to keep Trev from a race! After the start it was a nice beat to windward in 10 kts heading south to Meola. The tide was helping to Kauri pt, then hindering as we went around Kauri pt, so we needed to put in one last half tack at Meola. Then the tide hosed us down to Chelsea. A couple of reaching legs then finally a flat run to the finish with the Masthead kite. First on line, but pipped on handicap by the Bluebeat. Managed to score the 6 pack from the Justice from las weekends wayward ;) |
